The UAV Technician will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of agricultural drones used for crop spraying, mapping, and monitoring applications. The role requires a hands-on individual with strong technical and electronic knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for drone technology.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assembly & Integration: Assemble drone components including frame, motors, ESCs, flight controllers, GPS, and sprayer systems.
- Maintenance & Servicing: Perform regular preventive maintenance of agricultural drones, including battery health checks, motor testing, and firmware updates.
- Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues in UAVs.
- Calibration & Testing: Calibrate sensors, spraying systems, and flight controls to ensure operational accuracy.
- Coordination: Work closely with R&D, production, and field service teams for feedback and continuous product improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Aeronautical
- At least one year of experience in drone assembly, sub-component integration and maintenance
- Knowledge on Pixhawk based flight controller is plus
- Knowledge on agricultural spraying drone is plus
- Good communication and report drafting skills required
