We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Marketing to drive drone sales and agricultural spray service business across Karnataka. The candidate will be responsible for market development, lead generation, customer engagement, dealer/FPO networking, demonstration activities, and revenue growth for agricultural drones and precision spraying services.
The role requires extensive field travel, interaction with farmers, FPOs, agri-input companies, government departments, and rural stakeholders to promote drone-based agriculture solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell agricultural spraying drones and drone-based spray services across Karnataka.
- Identify new business opportunities through dealers, distributors, FPOs, agri-retailers, cooperatives, and government projects.
- Conduct field visits, farmer meetings, and live drone demonstrations.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into customers for drone sales and spraying contracts.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for drone products and services.
- Support tender participation for government drone projects and subsidy schemes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing/Agribusiness will be an added advantage.
- 2 years of experience in agri-inputs, farm mechanization, drone industry, rural marketing, or agricultural services.
- Experience in agricultural drone sales or spray service marketing preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Karnataka agriculture ecosystem and crop patterns.
- Ability to conduct field marketing and live demonstrations.
- Understanding of precision agriculture and drone spraying applications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and reporting systems.
- Kannada language proficiency is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka.
