Manager – Sales & Marketing

The Manager – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of agricultural drones, drone spraying services (DAAS), training programs, and precision agriculture solutions. The role requires developing strong relationships with farmers, FPOs, agri-input companies, government departments, cooperatives, and channel partners while leading marketing initiatives to increase market penetration and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for agricultural drones and drone-based services.
  • Generate new business opportunities through direct sales, dealer networks, FPOs, agri-entrepreneurs, and government projects.
  • Identify and develop new markets for drone spraying, mapping, surveillance, and precision agriculture services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, roadshows, and farmer awareness programs. Prepare proposals, quotations, tenders, and commercial offers.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts with customers and institutional buyers.
  • Promote Drone-as-a-Service (DAAS) business across agricultural clusters.
  • Build relationships with FPOs, Farmer Groups, Agri Retailers, and Plantation Owners.
  • Develop seasonal crop-wise service plans and revenue forecasts.
  • Coordinate with operations teams for drone deployment and service execution.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Tech Agriculture Engineering / B.E. Mechanical / MBA (Marketing or Agri-Business)
  • MBA in Marketing or Agri-Business preferred.

Experience:

5–10 years of experience in agricultural machinery, agri-inputs, farm equipment, drones, precision agriculture, or allied sectors.
